PICTURE

In the CTCUni, you sometimes find picture objects, like the one below.

As you can see, you can actually find pictures on the Internet and display them inside your world.

To make pictures, you first need a picture object. They're easy to spot because they have a screen that has static, like the one below.

You can find picture objects by going to the User Guide or following this link: http://www.activeworlds.com/help/aw34/pictures.htm

I am going to make a xaw5.rwx. This is what it looks like:

Now I am going to right click on it and I am going to enter:

Why did I do this? Well, because I wanted to make a picture. Basically, all you have to do is write

create picture _______________

where ______________ is the url of the picture.

If you click on  http://www.graphics.cornell.edu/about/rhodes.jpg you will find a picture of Rhodes Hall, where the mentors work.

If I type create picture http://www.graphics.cornell.edu/about/rhodes.jpg, look at what appears on the screen.

Note that your image must be a jpg. The program does not accept other types of pictures.
