TriviaBot

Your bot can also serve as a quizmaster. Basically, he can ask questions which people in the vicinity can answer. The bot will keep score and tells who wins. Very interesting and extremely fun. Also, it's easy to make.

Step 1:
You're going to have to make questions. The first thing that you need to do is make a text file and put "xelagot trivia" like so:

Step 2:
This will tell the bot that this is a special type of question file. Now you can ask questions. These use a special kind of syntax so pay careful attention:

You must write you questions in this format:

            /Category/Answer//Question/choice1/choice2/choice3/choice4

            Examples will be:

/Film&Theatre/Gandalf//In Lord of the Rings, what is the wizard called?/Aragorn/Gandlaf/Gimli/Legolas

/Astronomy/Mars//Which planet is named the Roman god of war?    (note here that you do not need to provide choices)

/Literature/Mark Twain/Samuel Clemens//Who wrote Tom Sawyer?     (note you can also have more than one answer)

Step 3:
After writing lots of questions, you can now get your triviabot started! Save your text file to your Xelagot folder or some other folder that you remember. Then, in your Xelagot program, go to Uni on the menu bar and click Trivia. A screen like this will appear.

Step 4:
First, click on Load a Question File and select your text file. Then choose between the options available on the menu. This will decide how your game will be played.

Step 5:

Your menu should now look something similar to the one on the right.

Notice that you can start, pause or stop any game in this menu. Also, note that when the questions are loaded by Xelagot, they are done so randomly so you can change the order by pressing on the buttons to the left.

Step 6:
Press Play. The game will start and people can guess the answers. See to the right and below for screenshots.
