Installation and Login

Step 1:
Download the program by going to http://www.imatowns.com/xelagot/xlgdl.html

 
Step 2:
Find the download link and save Xelagot to a location that is easy for you to access. Open up the zip file and it will reveal a few files and folders. This is the Xelagot program. Move these files to a folder somewhere on your computer. I personally made a new folder inside my CTCUni's program folder and put Xelagot in there.

 
Step 3:
Open the x1.exe file.
A program will open up that looks similar to the one on the right.


 
Step 4:
Go to to Bot in the menu bar and click on the first item that appears (should be NotBBot1)

 
Step 5:

The Login Options menu will pop up. For the CTCUni universe, simply follow these instructions:

  • Under Bot Name, give your bot a unique name (I called mine Johnbot)

  • Now click the Edit button at the bottom of the Universe Data Editor box (it's the light gray box)

  • Under Universe Name, enter CTCUni

  • Under Universe Host IP, enter cuni.scicentr.org

  • Under Port Number, enter 0

  • Under Default Citizen Number, enter your citizen number

  • Under Default Privilege Pw, enter your privilege password (for help with this, click here for a very quick tutorial)

  • Under Home World, enter what world you want the bot to go to (for help, click here for quick tutorial)

  • Under Home Coordinates, enter where you want the bot to start the first time it enters (for help, click here)

  • Now click Accept (your screen should look like the one below but customized to your own information)

  • At the World input box on the left, there is a Home button. Press it to update the home coordinates

  • CLICK LOGIN to move your bot into your world

 

Step 6:  
At this point, the Login Options menu will disappear and text will appear in your Xelagot program (Like the one on the right).


 
Step 7:  
If successful, your bot should appear inside your world, like this:

If you are not successful, try going back to Step 1 and make sure you have completed each step correctly. If you still cannot get it to work, refer to http://www.imatowns.com/xelagot/xlglogin.html for more help.
